Elephantmen

I haven't been able to post any art for a while, but here is my latest. This is from Elephantmen by Image Comics. I had the chance to read the first issue, which I enjoyed quite a bit. I'm hoping to dive in for more one of these days.

"I Swear! I Put Right Into R2's Data Bank. Didn't I?"

Never been much of a Dr. Who guy, which means I put a twist on the subject. Do the Dalek's look like trumped up R2 units?

Apologies to the good Doctor's fans. : )

Swamp Thing

sorry for the crummy Ipod photo. I actually started this one during one of the Drink and Draws and finished it on a mountain in West Virginia (on vacation). All pencil with a non-photo blue rough in my hardbound 11"x17" sketchbook.

I remember discovering the Tin Tin books back in Middle School. I think the first book I saw was even in french. I couldn't read it, but the story telling captured me! I searched them out at the library and the adventure and action and childlike wonder still gets me today.

And, of course, because I can't get away from my love of the look, a half-tone version:
